We always use the hook and one strap on the bottom versa button. Never had any problems, but also didn't know we were doing it wrong. we just make sure the hook is set correctly and the bottom strap is tight before entering the stand.

Took a vacation day to hunt today and I'm glad I did. Best movement I've seen all November. I had the 6th thru the 13th off and didn't see a shooter hunting all day. Hopefully I can close the deal.

I am real close by and we literally did not see a deer on our foodplot the whole night. Ideal wind conditions and perfect entry and exit route. The wife would really like to let the muzzleloader bark, but no opportunities yet.

The only issues i have had with the fiskars pole saw is the pruner not opening back up due to the strap pinching at the extension point. Otherwise we have been pleased. Used them for 6 years or so.

I use lingerie bags for anything that has buckles and put them in the front load washer. They are cheap mesh bags with a zipper that keeps the buckles and straps from whipping around. I found them at Walmart. I always hang dry these items after they are washed to avoid hearing them bang around...
