Just got two cameras put up over some well used scrape lines last weekend. It is about that time...

Will you be shotgun, muzzleloader, or archery hunting? I am unsure if the Illinois HE class is sufficient for Iowa, you may check with the DNR. You can pick up a 2010 hunting guide at any walmart or sporting goods store, this should give you all the info you need to get started.

I try to do this closer to season, post velvet when the bucks are tougher to find. I have all of my cameras on different properties right now but will narrow down here in about two weeks to really solidify some good tree stand locations. Good work!!

We bought 12 basic stands from Menards last year when there were on sale and "converted" them to the same basic design. We actually made the seat/mesh/cloth removable so you can carry the mesh with you to the stand and put it on, it's very uncomfortable to sit if you don't have one, which keeps...

Does anyone recall when the early season muzzleloader tags ran dry last year, I was thinking it only took a day or two???
