    Need advice - Few questions.

I've got a few questions. Here's where I'm at... I've got a new plot. Bulldozed back in January, finally sprayed, cleared and tilled up and ready for planting. Lime is going down this week, and my plan for this season is to plant 1/2 in clover and 1/2 in brassicas. I've had my soil tests done...

Clover planting - when to plant?

Thanks for the advice. I'll be planting it all late August. Not in a hurry and definitely not interested in wasting $$$$. Steve

Clover planting - when to plant?

I've got a few fields that I've finally had a chance to spray and clear off, is it too late to plant it with clover over the next few weeks? If so, when would you plant it for a fall plot? I'm not really in a hurry, and would rather do it right if waiting is the best option. Thanks. Steve

    Tree Identification #4.

I don't think it was a buckeye. I'll have to double check but I don't think there were 5 leaves at the end, and it seemed to "light green" to be a buckeye. I'll have to check next time I go back. I'm figuring out that the more pics I take the better. Hard to "run out" and check when it's 70...

    Tree Identification #4.

Hey guys - I appreciate the input, and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about these. I have been researching as much as I can, it's amazing how many different types of trees there can be in one area. Hope you don't mind a few more... Here's Number 4...

    Tree Identification #2?

We've got a BUNCH of shagbark's too, and I kind of like 'em. At the same time, this place is SOLID woods, and I'm trying to open up a few areas for plots. These pics are from a real cool creek bottom area, should be a killer spot with a little work. I'm trying to keep "variety" as far as the...

    Tree Identification #3... One more.

Appreciate all of the expertise on here. I've been looking these up in books, but it's not as easy as I thought it would be to identify some of these from just a leaf. Here's one more. In the same area that I'm planning on opening up a little plot in.... Thanks! Steve

    Tree Identification #2?

Thanks for the responses. Both of these trees lie in an area that I'm planning on opening up for a small plot. Just wanted to know what I was cutting down before I ran in there with a chainsaw. Thanks. Steve
