I’ve seen many deer react to cell cams. I switched to delayed sends and they don’t seem to mind them as much since doing so.

6 months in tomorrow and we’re having a blast. Sleep could be better but also could be worse. We visited the state fair last week and I think I’m gonna have a trapping partner.

I think extra rain is just as bad as a drought. You get a bunch of rain and water comes up and then drops quickly and you have just as much mud as when it drops during a drought perfect for midges. Just my thought.

It’s a double edge sword, we start getting dry and those nice flowing creeks will have way more mud than a regular summer. Sounds like a lot of reports in Monroe county of EHD in the last week.

Ames is the same way! I’d love to do it but if you want to hunt outside the parks you have to get permission from every property owner within 200 yards of the piece you want to hunt. Try getting 35 people to say yes in Ames so you can hunt one small piece.

Camera was 12” underwater when I got to it seeded my brassicas Sunday morning and have gotten over 5” since. Some places close have had closer to 9”

I do delayed send during the season but instant send after season on alfalfa and think the video on demand would be cool for that. I do use solar panels though. Hard not to use solar when it’s so cheap to get it anymore. Especially if you want to run lithium AA.
