Need rain bad

With 36 acres of hay down, praying it doesn't rain....
So far only a light shower or two on it.

I'm battn down the hatches.
Looks to be perhaps 2" plus coming starting in about an hour.
Just got off work, went n got groceries, beer. At my cabin so might get stranded for a few days.

Sitting on my covered deck in my briefs and a hoodie. Drinking a COLD beer and listening to the wonderful sound of rain falling.
I spead 1# of red clover seed into my back yard an hour ago. Got oats dug in there last week. Yeah, front and back yard are food plots. Lol.

Bear Burger, crispy hashbrowns mixed with a whole sweet red bell pepper and onion cooked in real butter with cheese melted on the menu soon.
And more beer. Not a person within 3/4 mile
Life feels great right now..
Peaceful.

Thinking I'm gonna be " stranded" for sure tomorrow no matter what. Lol.

We finally got some rain in Minnesota. I think it’s been a month & half of nothing ! So dry !

I think we've had a total of 5/10 ths since Aug 15.
Driest fall I can remember.

We have same in michigan with combine fires.
We keep ours blown off with leaf blower

Amen on the combine comments, its so dry. I don't think my rye that made it to 3" tall after .20 on bone dry soil is going to survive. It looks like dead grass.
