You definitely see less and less birds every time unless you get a snow then you gain some birds. They get smarter too though. Running without flushing and jumping way early.

Rough opener for me. Tubbs started off awesome flushed two hens, then flushed a rooster that I shot 30 min in. Unfortunately when he was carrying it back he started limping pretty bad with his back leg. We think he may have tore his CCL will know more Friday after his vet visit. Not looking good...

I’ve seen many deer react to cell cams. I switched to delayed sends and they don’t seem to mind them as much since doing so.

6 months in tomorrow and we’re having a blast. Sleep could be better but also could be worse. We visited the state fair last week and I think I’m gonna have a trapping partner.
