    New corn plots

Yeah I can buy a fence and have a brush mower. Just wondering what the best option would be for food since I'm limited with the size of plots I can put in. Only have a total of 3 tillable acres. I was also thinking of planting strips of sorghum to add that late season grain component to the...

    New corn plots

How many acres of corn plots would you need to be able to plant for it to make it worth it? Would 2 acres acres of corn plots leaving it in standing corn be enough or would that not be worth it? I'm just finding the cereal rye, oats and clovers are the only food sources the deer like in my...

Current status of the property and rut

I was sitting tonight and had 9 does come in and 1 basket rack. What's the reason for this? Mature bucks locked down with does? Ehd has killed alot of mature bucks? Kill more does so I see more bucks due to them having to hunt harder to find does? Wondering why such a screwy ratio of does to bucks

    Brassicas short and slight yellow

Would it be too late to add nitrogen to brassicas this time of year in iowa? I was waiting to see what they looked like after rain and they are more green and less yellow but not very tall and thought about hitting the 1 acre plot with 23lbs of uflex.

    Brassica yellowing

I've been ready alot about it and apparently you can liquify uflex in a sprayer tank and spray on brassicas or whatever needs nitrogen and it doesn't compromise it's stability. Found this interesting since you don't need to time it with rain in this case

    Brassica yellowing

My brassicas are yellowing and I believe it's due to nitrogen deficiency. Whats the best method to fix this besides broadcasted urea before a rain? Urea evaporates if rain isn't in forecast
