New skins and a fat doe.

Your posts are always so interesting and awesome. Do you have contact info for your lady? I'm looking for someone to make a jacket out of a couple hides and so far I have hit dead ends.

Thoughts on cabelas Outfitter or O2 Octane camo?

That's what I was thinking based on the images. Anything you'd reccomend instead? I definitely don't need any other cold weather gear.

Thoughts on cabelas Outfitter or O2 Octane camo?

I'm looking for a very versatile set of pants and a lightweight jacket. I can't afford Sitka or anything like that, but I like cabelas lifetime guarantee. I really like both the Outfitter and O2 patterns, they look extremely versatile, which I need for both spring and fall hunts in the midwest...

    Boot reccomendations?

I need a pair of 8" uninsulated boots for the midwest, wyoming, and south dakota. They need to be waterproof. I also want a boot made in the US, germany, etc. Price range is $250-$300. Right now I'm debating between the Danner East Ridge or Cabelas by Meindl Dinalli. I don't need a "hiking"...

If it's truly in the 180s, that's a once in several lifetimes buck. Of course you try to take a shot.

    Best wool glommits?

Need a new pair of glommits for the up coming cold season. I prefer wool and thinsulate, but if there's something warmer, I'm open to it. I'd appreciate any opinions.

I'm looking at the 2-7 model. Any have it an care to comment? I'm looking for something that will track well and be good in low light. I'm also considering the vortex viper (which is in a much better price range).

    Favorite safety harness?

A lot of love for the Muddy. I like the claims about minimal weight/bulk. Time to look for sale/promos/shipping codes

    Favorite safety harness?

It's been a few years since I lasted hunted out of a stand, but looks like I will be this season. What are some favorite harnesses? I hate to give a price range for safety equipment, but like anything else, I don't want to pay for unnecessary features, but also don't want scrimp.

    Scope for slug gun?

True, but at these price points, all will be built in Asian countries. I've just read many positive reviews on it. Maybe I'll make a trip to cabelas or scheels and have a look see.

    Scope for slug gun?

I've narrowed down the search for my slug gun scope to the Vortex Diamondback, Leupold Ultimate Slam, and Zeiss Terra X3. Obviously the Vortex is most affordable and the Zeiss is most expensive. Anyone have experience with any of these or suggest another model? Most shots in that 75-125 range...

    No Big ones yesterday?

People are missing the obvious. It was 2 degrees this past weekend and snow. As far as dwindling numbers, it sucks for those of you seeing it, but I sure havent.
