Wondering what estimated cost would be for someone to clear pasture overgrown thick with cedars. Charge per acre? Per hour?

Conspiracy theory kicking in here, but perhaps "they" don't want non-landowners to have a place to hunt. Insert whatever group of "they" you want and whatever reasoning behind it.

Hate when that happens. Silver lining (if you want to call it that) is you know where he ended up, and you ended up with him. The buck that I wanted most this year was found dead during shotgun season. Found by someone else...finders keepers. Really put a damper on the rest of my season.

Are you also using thermal on the gun? Or night vision scope?

With the other thread on wanting to remove cedars, sure wish it wasn't so costly to spade and haul!! Could save you a lot of years on growth, but I suppose it likely could be harder to keep the bigger trees alive once they're dug up.
