Trump endorsed Feenstra. Seems odd. He made so much fun of Basement Biden, but supports Runaway Randy. Pretty close to an endorsement for Sand....

In my opinion, a Feenstra nomination means Sand as governor - and like 1983, I might actually vote Sand in that case. The problem is there are too many other good R candidates in the race. Steen or Andrews only against Feenstra likely win easily. But, the non-Feenstra vote will be too split up.

All the people wanting straight wall said we were being paranoid on the "give an inch and they will take a mile". Well, it sure happened with further changes to "clarify" the calibers that were legal.

I believe every one of these changes would move us towards more deer rather than less deer. Seems like a win-win to me.

Most all regulations are tough to enforce. That doesn't mean laws should not be changed. Most will follow the new law as they are honest or afraid of getting caught. The guys who would break the tag sharing law are likely already breaking other laws.

So would I, but the DNR has said multiple times they DO NOT want the herd at those numbers. How do you suggest we change the mind of the DNR and/or legislature? And don't say "hunter education" as the vast majority will fill tags of they are available.

Iowa started asking the over/under 14" beam. I believe that was to determine yearling (1 to 2 years old) deer vs.older. Burg that has only been in place a couple years I think.

Seems WAY different to me. Light on pins just helps you see the pin in lower light (just before shooting light is over or when shooting from inside a dark blind), but you still need to see the animal. Thermal shows you the animal that you could not see at all or at least well enough to shoot...
