I've had a pair of UA gloves fall apart after two uses, and all I was doing was using them for driving. Some of their stuff is great but I think the problem is when you look at the tags, their stuff is made in all sorts of countries. So consistency is a problem.
Right now we have an acre of brassicas in, we were debating putting in some more. I plan on doing three acres of cereal grains as well. Thinking I will try another acre of the brassicas this week and see what happens.
I know that it is getting late for brassicas to be planted. Are there any that I could get in the ground this week that are fast maturing?? Or should I wait and plant the cereal grains?
I have some oats that have matured and come to seed. Was wondering if I mowed it down and turned the soil would the oat seed germinate? Planning to mix some rye and forage peas into it. Thanks.
I'm guessing most will say you should wait to spray until the oats are ready to be mowed. Clethodim will kill the oats which were planted with the clover to outcompete the weeds. The oats will also help establish the clover by taking some of the browse pressure.

I thought about frost...
The CRP ground I have is covered in Canary Grass and is matted down. I plan on putting the fields in a 3 yr rotation. I am going to strip disc a third to half the burned ground to release weeds and promote growth and leave the other half. I've thought about mowing part as well and running a drag...
