    Where'd the deer go???

    I have two archery tags left in Jasper Co. and I would love to fill just one, but there is this one problem. I can't find a deer anywhere. I'm not even seeing heavily traveled trails only spuratic tracks. Does anyone have any idea were I should be looking and what time of day? Help Please

    What choke do I use shooting slugs?

    I'm a LEO firearms instructor. You definitely want to use a modified choke. The full choke can creat a lot of CUP presure. Improved will work just fine but you will usually see better patterning and consistency with a modified choke.

    Good Locker?

    Pella, Nicest bunch of people. But you do pay a little more. They have to be skined with the head a hooves off. $60 to have them bone it.
