    WTB: Tracked Skid Loader

Had one at work several years ago that just outside of warranty (years, was under on hours) the spool valve went out. Heard that was a common issue from the tech. Was not a cheap fix. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

My little project this year. 500 acre farm with zero deer

Do your neighbors wonder where all the deer went? Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

    What shrubs are deer candy?

Don't forget Autumn Olive and Buckthorn! Really like highbush cranberry and buttonbush. Both will tolerate a bit of shade, too. Buttonbush doesn't mind wet feet. Can never go wrong with Plum, and because of the seed size, it seems to spread more readily into 'thickets', which is great for all...

We’re Asking for Prayers and Support

That has to be so frustrating finding out that kind of news and having to play a waiting game to start your attack. Prayers sent. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

    Chainsaw Advice

Had this issue with the first 362 I ran. Stihl has since fixed the issue and I've ran several of their e carb saws since with zero issues. They tune themselves to every scenario you run into, automatically. I doubt many of you are making minor adjustments to your traditional carb saws every time...

What about .45 and greater caliber air guns for whitetail deer?

I'm not buying this BS. Not even a little bit. If one cannot find a weapon and season that challenges or intrigues them with the zillion options available in Iowa, then that's on them. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

    Chainsaw Advice

I'd vote a 362 with 20" bar. I'm not one for having several of the same saw. That combo is also not that bad to carry all day and is an excellent felling saw. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

    Pheasant rebound…

That's awesome! Any quail? A lot of the CRP I planted back in 2014 and 2015 (I planted a lot those years) is similar. Maybe not as nuts as what I saw in that video. 10 years ago you couldn't have found a Rooster in the areas I planted. Now tons of birds, though numbers seem down significantly...

    Fall harvest

Love an early harvest for hunting, hate it for all the fields that will be turned black. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

    Switchgrass

I've always wanted to play around with fertilization of some of those older switch or big 3 fields that seem to be struggling a bit. I'm sure it's been done. So many plantings used to get 7 feet tall and super thick now max at 5 feet and are getting weedy. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

    Moving oak seedlings

I've had success doing this but I drilled holes a foot deep or so with a 3 inch earth auger. In my mind drilling the hole gives the taproot an easy path down deep. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

    Waterhemp in beans

How long does the residual affect on that last? I have a fallow field full of waterhemp that needs managed for a winter native seeding. I could keep mowing it but I'm entertaining a spray to see if I can get more of the seedbank to pop. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
