I love watching the videos from the 80's, 90's, & 2000's. The sport was gaining popularity, technology was taking big steps every year & the wealthy hadn't yet figured out how to capitalize. I was fortunate enough to grow up during that time and it was so much fun. We could hunt about anywhere and bowhunters pretty much hunted alone, yet looked out for each other. During those times I'd say hunting shows were a positive but in the last 12 years that has shifted, in my opinion anyway. Instead of offering what most of us want, hunting media is trying to cram what they want down our throats. I call it the Toyota affect, even though we know what we want, they tell us what we are going to get and we will love it because it's the only thing available.
What I miss more than anything...good hunting forums like this. Social media has ruined that side of hunting.
