Brands hit the nail on the head when he stated that you root for both Iowa and State. When it comes to the head to head I'm an Iowa fan but when they are off wrestling other teams I become a fan of both teams!!! GO HAWKS

Slaton looked like poop!!! Metcalf on the other hand looked like finally tuned machine.


Ereckson kinda got screwed on back points and even a possible pin in HWT but it was a great meet.
 
Slaton as stated in the post match interview with Brands spent too much time cutting weight and didn't have any energy.
 
Not a bad thing that happened to Slaton. A wake up call if nothing else. This gives him something to work for torwards the end of the year.
I was impressed with erickson and morningstar. Erickson got screwed while he was trying to pin and the ref stopped the move. Moringstar had a huge ride in the second period.
I can't believe we have to wait until Jan 23rd for the next home meet.
 
Limb - must've read over that.

Cady - Yeah, you're right, I bet that is a MAJOR wake up call for him. Morning star and Ctertis both had great matches. Metcalf put on a clinic and Falck was fun to watch as well.
