I shot this gobbler yesterday morning. My morning set wasn't successful so I went to another farm and from the entrance I could see 10 gobblers and close to 20 jakes. There was a group of 6 toms along a creek so I used that to get about 70 yards from them. I started calling softly and got louder so they would think the hen was getting closer and as soon as I had them fired up I made them think she was walking away and they hurried my way. I shot him at 8 steps.
