1st youth deer hunt

After connecting with a nice tom during the youth turkey season, my son had been bugging me about deer hunting. I was looking forward as much as he was as Saturday approached. We watched a group of 5 does mill around for a few minutes and as they started to get a little nervous he said he wanted to try to take one. A 25 yd. shot from the Double Bull and she was down! Now we are looking forward to eating deer jerky in the blind next weekend for the duck opener!
