2005 Rut Late?

I am hunting with a outfitter? It is his first year and seems to be a honest man. Very small operation. Hope I stick a big one, I arrive on the 6th and hunt 7-11. Give me your number and I will ring you up!

The 1st two weeks in November is always good. I will be hunting near Pleasant Hill in Pike county from the 1st to the 13th for the 5th year. Can't go wrong during this time period, the rut usually peaks shortly after that. Once the rut peaks the big boys are layed up tight with a doe & you don't see them as much as the 1st two weeks from my observations.
 
went deer spotin around urbandale last night west of the interstate and saw tonz and tonz of does. Saw one really really nice shooter.....prolly 140-150" ten with some dark antlers. Also saw about 5 little bucks with him and 2 were kinda testin out the new head gear and strength pushin each other around, nothing too serious though......sure got me fired up!!!
