Not much of story here. I sat a little bit in the late AM hours and did not see anything moving. I didn't get up early because I was not feeling well. Then I decided to go to my old hunting grounds near Hancock Iowa next to where I used to live. I decided to simply walk slow against the wind and as usual a deer came out in this little honey hole of a fenceline. I have hunted this for years and they always do the exact same thing if you catch the wind in the right direction. He made the mistake, jumped up and slowly ran off to about 80 yds, stopped broadside to look back at me and BOOM! The new CVA Optima put him down. My third buck this year, so not a bad year I guess. (Plus three does) Hey how about that Iowa Whitetail hat!
