2012 late muzz.

I was able to finally fill my late season muzz. tag. Although this isn't the biggest buck in the woods. I am more then happy to have shoot him! I was a little disappointed when I got to him because I let him walk earlier in the day. Then he came back out at last light around 200 yards. I saw how wide he was and decided to shoot while I could. After the smoke cleared he laid motionless. That is all I have to say about that!!!

He scores 129 inches, but I figure if he wasn't all broke up he would be just shy of 140.
 
I forgot to mention it was shot on public ground! Were I normally hunt, the land owns grandpa is very sick and his wife is due next week or so, so I didn't want to bother him anymore this year.

The deer is pretty nice too....

is the orange because you were on public land? i have looked at a few photos where the hunter has shot a deer late muzzy and had orange on??

Yes, you have to wear orange for all gun seasons as mentioned above. But there is no rule about wearing orange for photo ops...
