2024-25 Team Contest Score Thread(Teams):

Team 5 is on the board! First morning sit of the year Saturday 10/26 and first sit of the year in a little timber patch they just pass through this time every year. No cams or real recon or management around, just a real exciting "fun" spot! He raked a tree, pawed, and snort wheezed off another buck and gave me a dream shot at 7yds. Had no idea I was there! Was a bowhunter's October dream morning

I’m no score expert but he seems a bit bigger. With 5 in tines he’s 130. They seem longer???
Nor am I, but maybe its being an 8 that limits the total? I have been low in the past but probably within the ballpark. If it truly comes down to a nail biter for Team 5 we'll dust the tape back off! haha

In the field I quickly judge one side, double it, add 100. Your deer looks 7”, 6”, 6” brow. 19 x 2 + 100 = 138. Usually fairly close.

Team 6 here is a buck from 11/26. Score is 160ish. I’ll score him better. I come up with 146 5/8. I tend to score a little light. Idk. Those are my numbers.
