I swear they see these animals in a different way and realize the beauty besides inches like we get caught up in so often. My wife told me the same thing last year an I'm glad I shoulder mounted him.
I was originally just going to do a euro mount because I always used an inch mark to decide if I was going to do a shoulder mount. Thankfully my wife of all people set me straight, and the deer is at the taxidermist.
