2nd Season Bird

Managed to get it done on a cold morning bird! Not much of a story, things were pretty quiet only hearing 2 maybe 3 gobbles all morning. Saw this guy and two other toms slowly following a hen and managed to get between them before they got up the hill she went over and waited them out. He weighed an even 25 lbs, 1" spurs and had 1 strand that went 11" and a second one that went 10 7/8". It was fun even though they were silent.

Honestly, with our baseball season going on and the rain last weekend, we had to move games to the week so I couldn't get out during 1st season. So with an off day today, I took a chance that I could get it done and bought the license last night and was lucky enough for it to work out. Now waiting for 4th season.
