3-D Target Destroyed

I learned a valuable lesson this weekend. Well first of all I should never have spent nearly $200 on a target. Second I should have taken it down before the rut.

Here is how I found my target on Saturday morning. I could not find the body of the deer after looking all around for a few hours. In my mind I was seeing some huge buck walking around with this target stuck to its head. It wasn’t until later in the day I spotted it from inside my house floating at the other end of 4 acre pond. When I went to retrieve my target it had some major puncture holes in the neck & on the arrow insert. My bedroom window is only 35 yards away & I didn’t hear a thing.

If anyone is curious I live in Norwalk just south of Des Moines.

thats hilarious same thing happened to my uncle but not as bad as that. it was probably one of those big ole city bucks

I have had the same target for about 3 weeks now and have been bringing it back in the house every night. No whitetails where I live

and I believe a muley would be scared of the whitetail target but I worry about the elk roaming through my yard.

They knocked over my old Delta broadhead buck a couple of times last month.

Had the same thing happen to me two years ago in my backyard.

Wonder what that old buck is thinkin (probably thinks he is a stud) beatin up the chunk of styrofoam.
