I have a custom built planter built by Jungman Wildlife Supply out of Nebraska. Yetter hoppers & plate system. It has a liquid fert system that allows you to put liquid fert down 2” to the side of the seed furrow. I’ve got corn plates, 2 different sets of sorghum plates, bean plates. I’ve planted corn, soybeans, Egyptian wheat, cowpeas and sorghum with it. It’s EXTREMELY heavy built. Has shark tooth trash managers in front of the seed coulters, onboard tool box.
I did loan it to a friend a couple years ago and he broke some of the lines for the fert system. I have a brand new pump and all the parts on hand to get the fert system repaired.
I recently looked at a similar planter that Wildlife Farming has for sale and was shocked at how expensive these things have become. Their 2 row is $6,700 and their 4 row is $13,000 neither of which include a fert system and are not nearly as over-engineered as mine.
I’d sell mine for $8000 and give you the $960 in new parts I have to fix the fertilizer system. You’ll have a 3 row planter that your grandkids will be using.
