1.2 million per year would roughly buy about 8 square miles of quality hunting land over the next 10 years. In 50 years this would be 40 square miles of land( both land and fees adjusted for inflation). This would be a lot of land that is public forever. I understand the pros & cons of the subject but it's something to think about.
ain't no way that 100% of this money would end up going to public land purchases. its just an empty promise to try to fool people into getting behind a tag increase
