I wish I could handle chili in the morning. I don't like surprises!!

There were no surprises, that breakfast did everything I had anticapated it would. :D:way:

Happiness is peace, quiet, and an extra roll of toilet paper... along with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show on Disney Jr keeping the kids out of the bathroom... hence the peace and quiet.

My life exactly. I miss chilli for breakfast (game day ritual in college). Thanks for bringing back good memories, Muddy and for the motivation for supper now that the mountains are finally cooling down!

I dare ya to try that combo before heading to the treestand some morning. OMG

No other way to guarantee a clean colon before I leave. If not, I have a package of baby wipes in the truck and in my back pack, no problem :way:

I've got my world famous homemade southern Iowa chili in the crock pot right now, along with a 12pk of Busch Light in the fridge. Tonight is going to be a good night :way:

Put up some of your recipes guys! I'm always open to trying new chili recipes. Might be a good weekend to make a batch.

1 lb of sausage
1 lb of ground deer or beef
4 table spoons of chili powder
2 table spoons of chipolte chili powder
4 cans of red beans
4 cans of crushed tomato's
2 cans of rotel
2 jalapeno's if you want to kick up the heat.

brown all of the meat in skillet, then mix everything together and simmer for a few hours. It makes A LOT of chili.

That sounds great, except I just use an entire shaker of chilli powder, measuring is lame. ;)

You can also get spicy hot red/chilli beans that give it more kick.
