the 10 is the buck Jon was saying is allot bigger than what I guessed.

what is your guess ? the first pic I thought he has great mass but no tine lenght, the pictures of him going away tells me he has nice tine length.

this is across the road from the field I hunt.

this is the buck we call "14 point" even though he lost a bunch of points from last year, but gained mass and length.

this is "14 point" by the blind last fall after the rut. the does must have given him a good workout because he sure lost allot of weight from a few months before.

Why didn't I stick him ?

well...

The first time he was by the blind (under 10 yds) I was going to take a few pictures before he came through the shooting lane. What do you think happens when the camera strap lightly hits the camera case !! bye bye buck.
well I did get a picture, that is the one above.

A week later he was back. this time I had my bow in hand. he had 2 steps to go for the shot (under 10 yds). I was just starting to draw when I heard a thud. Well the deer didn't like it either. It was a limb that fell on the ramp of the blind.

here is a picture of him coming into the field I hunt. I was at the gate in my van taking the picture. this was earily June
