Well I got my first bobcat on the trailcam today. Its not the greatest pic but I am 98% confident that it is indeed a bobcat. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

I also got a couple other critters on digital memory for the first time but I decided not to post them. You guys have beat up on Andy enough, I don't want my posts being the cause of any more abuse. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Ah, what the heck. Here are the pics of my first oppossum and first skunk. But you'll have to ask Andy which is which.

By the way, out of 500+ pics between 2/17 and 3/15, I had 1 pic of an antlered deer, a forky holding one side. The rest were all shed bucks.

Good pics, what kind of cam do you have ? I'm thinking of going to a digital trail cam, but i don't want to spend a lot.

These pics were taken with a Moultrie D40. $100 cam, takes decent pics, as long as the temps don't dip way down, it works great. I also have a couple Bushnells that I paid $250 apiece for that aren'y any better than the Moultries.

Nice variety. Do you use regular or rechargeable batteries? I have the same model and it eats the batteries quick.

I just use regular duracells. My cams don't work well on rechargeables. If the weather stays above freezing, the batteries last 4 to 5 weeks. If the temps dip below, they last 4 to 5 days.
