Well, Sunday after church, 1arrow and I decided to take our 7 yr. olds with us for a day in the woods to see if we could find us some sheds. It ended up being an awesome day for the boys. They found all sorts of bones, skulls & antlers. This first picture is of 1arrow finding one of his first sheds ever! We found a spot where some bucks obviously bed down and ended up finding 5 sheds and 1 skull with antlers attached. All in a 700-800 square foot area.

This second pic is of the creek that seperates our family farm. 1arrow's buck dropped dead about 1 foot from the edge of this drop off. My buck died a week earlier in the water about 10 feet apart from each other. What are the odds of that!

Here is my son in the foreground and 1arrow's boy in the back. They found some turkey feathers and were taking a break in the sun.

Here is the 2 boys sitting on a log trying to rattle in a couple of bucks with the sheds they found!

Might be a little tough in February but we let them try!

This last picture is at the end of the day with their collection. AS you can see they had a blast. We had a great time getting out there and exploring. I have a feeling it won't be our last!

Awesome!!! It is great to see you teaching those fine young men about the outdoors!!! Chances are, they are hooked for life!!!

It always helps to find some that first time out. I wasn't so luck. Had to give it a few tries before I had any success. Great way to get the boys excited about the outdoors.
