I took this buck in Bremer County on opening night of early muzzleloader season. I had seen him several times fighting off the smaller bucks during bow season, but he never presented a shot. I got lucky and was able to harvest him with the ML. It's my biggest buck to date. What do you guys think he'd score?
My dad also scored on a smaller buck that morning. We weren't on stand for more than 15 minutes when I heard his gun go off. I was very glad to be able to hunt with my dad, as we hadn't hunted together in the last 6 years. We will now have plenty of meat in the freezer.
I am now waiting for a bigger deer with my bow tag. I have the antlers from the ML buck euro mounted in my room.
