I have been writing Legislators about Deer Numbers and Big Money. I've gotten a few replies, the usual,"Thank You for Writing". Today I received a reply from a Lady Legislator, not that, that makes a difference, but she told me she was with me 100%.That she did not think there were too many whitetails. She said, however that I was fighting a Losing Battle. That the Majority of Legislators still believe there are too many deer, and that they still think they need more money from hunting. Just thought I would share an answer I got.

The good news is that in the history of this great nation men with the spirit to fight "losing battles" have prevailed. I don't think that Iowa is lacking in spirited men with a passion to rally together to fight for what is right. Just leave your guns at home boys, this fight can be won with a pen and a phone.

At a legislative reception Monday night we kept hammering away at legislators that we liked things as is. Most of the state has the deer pop. in check and those areas with too many deer were the areas we had no access to.

If you are seeing less deer your legislator need to hear that.Writing letters & making phone calls not only make you feel better, they WORK

i love having too many deer.....
more to pick from. but im not the one who owns a farm that is loosing money to the deer.
the only way to change things is to get involved
