Acorns Falling

Last week while checking my camera's I saw an oak tree loaded with acorns, going by this week checking the camera's I noticed the grass all beaten down under the oak and looking up I saw most of the acorns had fallen to the ground. Anybody else notice this? The extreme heat cause this early falling acorns?

I don't think this is early for them to fall. I see them on ground at the end of July/start of August every year. Different types may fall at different times of the year though???

There were some white oak acorns falling today while I was planting.

Not sure where your at in Iowa, but if your in the western part. It may have
been the 100 mile an hour winds.

They're falling here, I don't think it was the winds I think it's just time they start falling. The neighbors are also picking up Walnuts
