Are insane.
Just tried shooting a squirrel but gave up due to not wanting to lose an eye.
How's your oaks doing?

Loaded here!!! White oaks at my home farm are packed. Might make it interesting finding deer in early October but I’m glad to have them. I’ll snap some pics later. Looks great above!!!
 
Hmmm...I have seen some acorns, but a little below average IMO. But I also haven't walked into the timber too far to where some of the better producers are. So maybe I have more than I think I do???
 
I just walked a bit on my woods in Minnesota that had hundreds of oak trees.. very few acorns ? Not a good year in my area.
 
It may be a little early for them to drop yet? I know my Sawtooth oaks are loaded this year and will start dropping by the end of September.
 
My neighbor where I live near Iowa City has an oak tree dropping acorns like crazy...in our driveway. :) So some varieties have started to drop, FWIW.
 
Good God..., I just may forsake sitting in a stand this year and just wait till late season and hunt from my couch!
These oaks are right out my back window.
Never seen this much mast.

Wow, haven't seen an acorn crop like some of you have since 1994!
 
For the first hour of daylight, I was swarmed with deer.
Bet I had 20 in the yard this morning.
