I think regardless if he lost some inches from last year, I bet that all went away the moment you put your hands on his rack. Giant either way and the personal connection always makes the kill special to close the chapter. You also were the one to do it, for me, it hasn't turned out that way (neighbors or others have got the pleasure, which is hard to swallow sometimes).
