Age this Buck

I'm going to say 3.5.

Has a good sized body. Not much of a shoulder hump coming up on the back and pretty skinny neck. Doesn't appear to be an old deer.

As I said in 1st post I have not saw this deer before. I look at the body and it says 4 1/2 years old in my area. I look at the rack and it says 1 1/2 to 2 1/2. Be interesting to see if I get any pictures of this deer this coming season. The black face is unique. The only other deer that I have gotten pictures of with the black face were does. Here is the original picture.

Probably an overactive sudoriferous gland (forehead gland) causing the face to look that dark. It's fairly common in whitetails. Cool pic :way:

He probably just rubbed his face in his old buck tarsals.
