I like the point about "not seeing deer gives me confidence". I only do all day sits a couple times a year but when I do, I know that the stars are aligned. Being in a spot you know will bring results makes the excitement that much greater when its actually slow, knowing something should show up any time.

Had a buddy kill a 160 yesterday at 1:10. What gave him the idea to sit mid day I will.never know.

Be prepared mentally. Just because your sitting all day doesn't guarantee results. Like was mentioned earlier,sitting all day today and not see anything and the next day the woods can be on fire.
