Alamakee gets pretty busy lots of non resident pressure for bow.

I was more looking towards the late season muzzleloader season

Some big tracts public up there- have to be secluded areas bucks can get old if u figure out those spots. For the record- NE iowa destroys southern iowa - just in case anyone was wondering . Way better there!!!
Great country that way. Late Ml- wonder if any have any food/crops/plots but otherwise it’s gonna be finding the low pressure, travel areas & natural browse.

Late muzzy is a waste of time on public here IMO. There is food and sign but it's at night and shed hunting pressure starts that same time. Not to mention people doing drives during the day.

I was thinking of going to some way back in remote spots on the yellow river state park and bloody run ever been to either ?
