Almost!!!

We headed up north to do a little walleye fishing and snag a northern or 2. We planned on catching mainly walleyes and that is what we did until the last day. We had caught a few little northern but nothing much of size. until I was jigging for eyes when all of the sudden I thought I had a snag after a little pulling I realized the other end of the line was pulling back. After a long fight with no leader 8 lb test and a 3/8 oz jig I caught my biggest northern to date. He competed with my biggest musky he was right at 41 and fat as can be. I never thought a walleye trip would produce my second biggest fish.

Here is just a little comparison of how he compared to my biggest. Oh I almost forgot while you guys were dealing with 90 degree weather we had lows in the 30's and highs in the 50's
