ALOT OF DEER MOVEMENT TONIGHT

Went out driving around tonight (4:00 until 5:30) saw alot of does out feeding in picked cornfields, did not see a single buck. Must have seen 30 + does in a 12 square mile area. Hopefully they will want to come out and play in the morning as well. Good luck to all yet to harvest a deer this year.

I'd agree with that!!

Went out to fill a doe tag and roost some turkeys for a morning hunt. Never made it to my stand….

As I was crossing the CRP about 2:30 two does were going down the fence line in front of the stand I was heading to. Paused in the field to let the does pass. As I was watching through the Binoculars I caught some movement in the timber around the stand. Within about 5 min I'd counted 6 bucks. Before long they were out in the CRP probably 100 to 150 yards in front of me. Fighting, rubbing, scraping, chasing does, and feeding. Never did make it to the stand but had a great night and watched the turkeys roost.

Lesson: leave work a little earlier the day before a holiday.
