I seen the Amish at the Classic also. I am pretty sure they were the real thing as you could see that there clothes were homemade if you looked. There are several levels of Mennonites some that are more conservative then others, and some you couldn't tell from anybody else. The Amish hunt,fish, and trap just like the rest of us. The ones that I have lived around seem to be good people but keep to themselves. As far as them getting to Des Moines they get somebody to give them a ride if it is too far for the horse. I am sure they do some trophy hunting also, I just doubt the Amish have a pc to spread it on the internet.

Nearly everytime that I visit Cabela's (hell of a lot) here in Michigan I see what I assume are Amish folks. It appears that they do hire someone to drive them , they climb out of large van, men and women. My brother and I asked an Amish family to hunt his land in Ohio and he gave us permission and he was a very pleasant person.

we spend 70% of the time hunting coyotes on ahmish property. They are great people and My family and friends always have gotten all are lumber there. It depends on the area but sometimes a few young men join us in our hunt and they are diehards, sexcrazedbuck and I always enjoy having some else out there deep late in the hunt. For the technoligy that WE use compared to what they make is crazy. WE have it made in this crazy world. I think alot of us had to walk in there boots some may crumble.
