The Hunt Never Ends....
Hey guys, some of you who are in the PMA have seen pictures of my most recent harvest of a buck that I call Popeye that I had three years of history with. I brought along the video camera with me on the hunt, and just finished editing the footage. If you'd like to watch it, simply click on the link at the bottom of this post. Also, I will ask that if you do click on the link, to take a few extra minutes and subscribe to my blog. It's free, simple, easy, and will put you into a monthly drawing for some great prizes....plus, It would mean a lot to me :D

Amazing how they can survive with legs blown off. Question? How did neighbor shoot him in the leg?

I'm not exactly certain as to what happened, but I'm pretty sure that he said that Popeye was quartering away at a little more than 100yds, light was fading, and he didn't have a solid rest. He was confident in making the shot, but it just didn't go as planned, as has happened to all of us before. Misplaced shots are part of hunting, and sometimes, no matter how much you practice, or how confident you are in a shot, it just doesn't go 'as planned.' Both the neighobr and myself are just glad that one of us were able to put an end to the story of Popeye. :way:

Very Very Cool. Congrats SureShot that is amazing. Awesome you were able to put an ending to the history of Popeye. Well Done!!!
