Went to check my camera on Saturday, found it handing from the tree like this. 2 guys tried to pull it off the tree with a 4 wheeler. Took about 10 minutes to get it unlocked and the lock is ruined, but at least I still have my camera

Yupp 4 wheel marks dug clear down to the dirt right next to the tree

You're lucky. I had the same lock on my camera. Someone smashed it off the tree
with a hammer and everything was gone. Saw the marks in the tree.
Wish I had a tag for that guy.

Really, who the heck carries a hammer with them in the woods!? I know they aren't indestructible, but I figured they would be enough of a pain to mess with that people would leave me alone. Sucks!

I imagine it wasnt their first rodeo as the first guy rode by looking away from the camera as the other guy came up on the left to hook up to the camera

I can think of about a thousand easier ways to bust that thing off the tree than pulling with a 4 wheeler. What a couple of twits.
