Annexing???

Anyone heard anything about being able to hunt land that was recently annexed for the 2009 season? I heard something about they were taking it back and we are now able to muzzleload out of an elevated stand and you can bowhunt if the property is 20 acres or bigger?

You need to contact the city that annexed the property--city manager's office, or city clerk if your city doesn't have city manager, would be a good place to start. City ordinances will determine whether hunting is or isn't allowed--many don't allow guns to be discharged within city limits, but that's not always the case.

IF the annexing city allows hunting, hunting will be governed by DNR regulations plus any city regulations that are more restrictive.
