Last Saturday, I decided that the Double Wide's rib cage had laid next to the shed in the farm yard WAY too long. I took it out to a fence row and put a cam on it.
Tonight as I was walking back to the house after a midnight coyote hunt, I figured I'd pull the cam. These pics were on it.
I walked out about 11:30 p.m. I had great visibility, as I could see deer all around me in the fields. I had a couple feeding within 50 yards of me as I started a series of rabbit squeals. It didn't freak the deer out, they seemed curious. I figured if a coyote came charging in, I would be warned by the deer getting jumpy. Nothing happened besides watching deer for an hour. A poacher would be eating backstraps for breakfast today.
After I replied earlier today, I took a walk with the rifle to pull cards. I quit hunting at 12:30 a.m. this morning, this guy was 300 yards north a little over an hour later.
