Any cuddeback experts on here?

How do the solar panels work in an all timber situation? Also, what is the hours of sunlight needed for your solar panels on cames that get a workout, (400-800 plus pics a month)?
Great! If you have open or fairly open area the PW3600 works fantastic, and for thicker timber I have been using the sun&shade, larger panels this year. I have 2 systems and around 20 Ks, Js, and Ls and dont have a single battery in any of them, and havent for multiple years.

Here is my one system. I took most down this past spring to rearranged, update, etc. and it restarted the days, but you get the picture! Sure there are some guys that have way crazier numbers.

A human walking and a deer walking are not the same thing. I can get a human in a pic but the back half of deer is a lot more common than front half. Camera angle setup is vital so that is taken into account. In a standing/knocked down corn field plot I have 2 cuddelink cams and 2 spypoint cams. I get a lot more back half of deer pics on cuddes than on the spypoints.
That's fair.

Like I said earlier in thread most people hang cams much too high.

Unfortunately the limitations af the link system is its impossible to send videos over the network. Unless a different frequency is available to link the system that will never happen. It's a trade off of having a camera out of service send pictures

That makes sense, and I fully understand they're not full cell cams

Impressive run days for sure. I've never understood why some don't end up saying external OK, even with solar panel plugged in.

Make sure you allow the screen to die and plug your external in first, then once its powered on put batteries in the camera. This should ensure that the external shows
