Anybody have trouble with there matrix?

It seem like its to tight. I have a hell of a time getting the top popped up. I looked like a monkey humping a football this morning. I remember the video said not to loosen it. Any suggestions? This is my second one i traded for a different color and I didnt have any trouble with my last one.

I own, and have used quite a few Matrix's and only 2 had the wall tension set right. Just go in and on the inside there is a buckle at the top of each corner. Just un-click the buckle on the first corner put about 1 inch more of slack in it and click it back into place. Then follow that around the whole inside of the blind going buckle to buckle till your back to where you started.

It may not seem like you're loosening it much when you first start but when you get to the last buckle as a "whole" it will have loosened plenty and you will be able to set it up and take it down in a flash. I think it takes me an average of 45 sec.. but wall tension really aids in that.

Hope that helps, or if you have any other questions PM me.

Done deal thanks for the excellent info. I works a million times better. I was afraid to mess with it.

Don't feel bad about not being smooth on the set up (and tear down for me). I'm always thankfull I'm out in the country where no one can see me fumble around!

I had a different kind of trouble setting mine up this afternoon. The two windows across the corner from each other some how got their hooks crossed. I didn't realize it setting it up, being the guerilla I am. It tore both of the hooks somewhat loose, but not completely off. I spent some time tonight stitching them back on.

Sewing is not my finest skill. It looks like crap, but should hold. At least I have a gobbler roosted for tomorrow am. I'll say an extra prayer before bed tonight.

I probably looked like a monkey humping a whole football team this morning. I haven't had any trouble setting it up until today. Took me over 10 minutes and when I was done, one side looked caved in. 2 of the rods inside came out of the sleeves at the roofline and I had to break it back down to reinstall them. I thought I broke the dang thing. It was in a serious bind trying to open it. Guess I need to watch the video again

Matt,
Same thing happened to me.

I was pretty p.o. Then it was so windy that one of my sides kept caving in. When I finally had enough I tried taking it down in the wind at that was another story.
