Anybody Scout in the Heat?

Well, I scheduled a business trip for a week in NE Missouri last month. Unfortunately, I booked three days to scout zone 5 Fri-today Sunday. Hot, hot & hotter. Multiple foot ailments & heart failure took a toll on me but tried my best. I’m guessing nobody else wasted their time this weekend? If do, how did it go? I found the worst part of Sunny & 80 degrees in early March is no leaves on the trees to provide some shade. So I fried like an egg.
 
I dislike shed hunting in the heat almost as much as july/august stand prep. But I was out all 3 days this weekend.
 
I love this time of year. I had & still do have years where im scrambling in summer heat on stands & “the to do list”. I was inside for 3 days this weekend. This is the longest streak of not being on farms or outdoors in months. Considering I’m on a farm everyday, I guess I consider anything Right now pretty nice weather. :)
 
Normally I would be shed hunting. But those temps coupled with ridiculous wind, nope, I stayed home.
