That sounds awesome. Not sure about the 29 dollars though. That would be great fuel for the anti-hunters if somebody were to happen to shoot the deer. I could only imagine what kind of stir that would make. I hope they paint this deer blaze orange.
You would need to have a lot of time on your hands to get anything interesting off of it. Think about the day of a whitetail buck. Bed to feed, feed to bed. Once it has been studied by some students they'll publish and you won't have to spend your life and $29 a month looking for the over the top knowlege. I am sure there will be some interesting thing viewed just not at enough frequency to keep me interested for long.
I saw pictures from the camera in a magazine. It looks like the camera is just above his eyes. I'm trying to figure out how in the heck they could have it attached. You would think he would rip it off or damage it if he was rubbing or got in a fight.
Hope there aren't many roads around. We could find out what it look like to be staring into headlights.
They showed some footage from it on North American Whitetail TV. Looks like long hours of boredom. I hope they pull highlights off it so you can just watcht eh good parts. If you are watching it waiting for something to happen it might be a long long time.
Heres a new link web page
Guess getting shot or hit by a car are pretty much out since the deer is on a 1500 acre ranch in Texas. There is a pretty cool demo movie. I think you are right about the hours of boring footage since the demo jumps from scene to scene. I bet the highlights would be cool though.
