Anyone done a smokeless conversion on a TC muzzleloader??

I am bound and determined to go smokeless....too many positives to list out.

Considering having my existing TC Pro hunter converted. That's new brux 45 cal barrel and all. I am being told it will result in a legit 300 yard gun. This uses same action, 209 primers, etc.

Anyone done it? Performance?

vs.

possible finding an older Remington 700 rifle, smokeless muzzle conversion, keeps brass firing system.

vs.

dropping some real coin and getting a new complete smokeless setup.


Lots of discussions on this in the past, looking for real world experience from anyone....

I have a Remington 700 with a 45 cal Mcgowen barrel (older Build), at 300 yards will shoot 1.5 inch group. Have a 416, built on a 700 CF frame, That will do the same.
Having a CVA Scout with a 45/70 barrel changed over to shoot smokeless by Luke, should have it next week.

I have an older Rem 700ml that Luke converted with a 45 cal Brux barrel, pillar bedded Boyd stock. It uses a magnum shotgun primer. Shoots way better than I do. With a solid rest & a broadside deer, it's an easy a 400 yard muzzleloader. "No bull" to borrow a phrase from Jim Shockey.

I will someday, when i feel need to replace my savage. Will change muzzle loading as you know it!

I have a buddy shoots rifle powder in his and his TC flat out gets it done, kicks like sum gun though
